NH Adobe User Group home page

The NH Adobe Users group is designed as a forum for Adobe software developers, designers and users primarily in New Hampshire. Although Adobe is our main sponsor, we have additional sponsors (see logos in sponsor area) and are open to other products.

TOPIC: Introduction to Using Adobe Flex Builder for Publishing Interactive Web-Based Maps

DETAILS: Adobe Flex Builder is a software application that is used for working with the Adobe Flex web application framework. ESRI, a Geographic Information System(GIS) software provider, has created an Application Programming Interface (API) that enables developers create interesting, dynamic maps that can be embedded within web pages and displayed by the client using the Adobe Flash Player. This presentation will feature a walkthrough of the basics of using Flex Builder to create a simple web mapping application using the ESRI ArcGIS API for Flex. With any luck, this will be a live demonstration using map services available from the New Hampshire Marine Debris to Energy project. Zero knowledge of the Flex framework, or even coding for that matter, will be assumed!
