Risk Management Programs - Program Partners
The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, under the Targeted States Program with the USDA Risk Management Agency, has formed a partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food, USDA Farm Service Agency, NOFA New Hampshire, and private industry to offer educational programs which help farmers to identify and better manage the various sources of business, marketing and financial risk. Statewide seminars and workshops cover a wide range of topics with presentations and contributions by professionals from around New England and the Northeast.
The New Hampshire risk management planning group meets throughout the year to plan risk management educational and informational activities. Planning group members are key partners in developing and delivering materials at seminars, workshops, and tradeshows as well as though direct mail, news media and web sites.
