New Hampshire Community Planning Grant Program
The New Hampshire Community Planning Grant Program provides competitive matching grants for cities and towns to create local regulations that foster sustainable community development.
The CPG Program is administered by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority (New Hampshire Housing) under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD has awarded $1 million to New Hampshire Housing from the Community Challenge Planning Grant program for the purpose of establishing the CPG Program.
Grant Rounds
Grants will be made in two rounds, with the following application deadlines:
- Round 1: applications must be postmarked no later than June 15, 2012
- Round 2: applications are due in 2013, specific date to be announced later
Grant Amounts
Round 1 grants will be made in two categories:
- $30,000 maximum for a one-year project, contract term ending on June 30, 2013
- $50,000 maximum for a two-year project, contract term ending on June 30, 2014
Round 2 grants will be limited to one-year projects of up to $30,000.
