Elizabeth Martin - Extension Program Associate, Food and Nutrition
Liz Martin brings the Nutrition Connections program to Merrimack county residents. She teaches low-income individuals about healthy foods to feed themselves and their families, how develop a food budget, plan low-cost and quick menus, shop wisely for food, how to use unit pricing and read food labels, and the importance of daily exercise.

| Elizabeth Martin came to UNH Cooperative Extension in August of 2003, as a Family Lifeskills Coordinator. She became Merrimack County Nutrition Connections Food and Nutrition Program Associate in May of 2005. The Nutrition Connections program works with limited resource individuals, families, groups and youth to teach the basics of nutrition, food safety, shopping wisely for food, menu planning, reading food labels, and money management. Elizabeth is responsible for recruiting families and youth , marketing individuals and agencies and providing individual and group lessons to Merrimack County clientel. |
