MERRIMACK COUNTY 4-H JUNIOR LEADERS
Merrimack County 4-H Junior Leaders consists of youth who take on responsibility and leadership roles, guided by adult volunteers. The Junior Leaders are instrumental in planning and organizing the annual Honor's Evening. This event is a gathering of all members and volunteers in recognition for years in the 4-H Youth Development Program, and awarding winners of the years other 4-H events.
Youth who are 13 and older are welcomed to be part of this club, which meets on a regular monthly basis. For their efforts during the 4-H year, they are given the opportunity to take a year-end trip, whether it be to Boston to take part in the "Duck Tour", seeing the "Blue Man Group", or other special trips.
These youth work on other projects during the year, community projects, such as letter writing to the troops, visiting nursing home residents and providing items for young underpriveledge children during the holidays. Their commitment is on going and strong throughout the 4-H year.
If you are interested in becoming a part of the Junior Leaders, please contact our office at 796-2151 or send an e-mail.
