A soil test was done for treatment two and it was found that the soil has a pH of 5.2 (lawns should be about 6.0-6.5)
and the potassium was low.

* The first application of treatments was made on 4-25-08. At this time, the lime and potassium according to the soil tests should have been put down on the plots for treatment 2, however, the soil tests results had not arrived yet, so another application was made on 5/15/08.

All applications were watered with rain showers that occurred for three days after the applications were made. Rain equaled about 1.5 inches over 3 days.

Initial observations of this lawn are that there is a lot of moss and wet areas. The soils are clay and hold water. Grass is thin.

**The decision was made not to use the broadleaf herbicide again due to environmental concerns of the wet areas around the lawn.
