Writer/Editor/Special Projects Coordinator
Peg Boyles supports Extension staff, administrators and volunteers by editing many types of 
written materials, which include fact sheets, general-interest articles, how-to manuals, curricula for distribution through print and electronic formats. In addition, she researches and writes original articles on a broad range of topics for the UNH Extension Web homepage and for general distribution. Peg also offers writing and editing workshops for Extension staff and volunteers.
Biography |
| Peg serves UNH Cooperative Extension staff and volunteers as a copyeditor, co-author, and writing coach/teacher. She manages the homepage of the UNH Cooperative Extension Web site and writes original material for various media. In addition, she manages NH Outside, a writing collaborative for Extension natural resources volunteers. Before coming to Cooperative Extension in 1999, Peg worked for many years as a freelance writer specializing in energy topics, environmental and human health issues, and nonmarket economics. Her academic interests include writing pedagogy, health communication, mindfulness, and writing for the Web. In her spare time, she tends a large vegetable garden, splits firewood, runs, bikes, walks, swims, lifts weights, snowshoes, and reads voraciously. |
