The Rockingham County Botanical Garden is supported by UNH Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners. All events take place at the Rockingham County Botanical Garden, across the road from UNH Cooperative Extension Rockingham County, 113 North Road in Brentwood, New Hampshire. Demonstration Gardens at Rockingham County Summer 2008 Events
  • Mondays: May 5, 12, & 19 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • and Thursdays: May 15, 22, & 29 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
  • Education Topic: Going Green/Getting Started/Garden Preparation: annuals, lawn preparation and care, testing your soil, mulch, and compost
  • UNHCE Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions
  • Plant sale
  • Mondays: June 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • and Thursdays: June 5, 19, & 26 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
  • Education Topic: Perennials: perennial herbs, dividing perennials, composting, and selecting plants for sun or shade
  • UNHCE Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions
  • Plant sale
  • Mondays: July 7, 14, 21, & 28 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • and Thursdays: July 3, 17, 24, & 31 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
  • Education Topic: Garden Maintenance: weed control, mulch, diseases, insect ID and control, ground covers, and hardscape
