UNH Cooperative Extension works closely with the NH Division of Forests and Lands, NH Department of Fish and Game, Society for the Protection of NH Forests, Audubon Society, NH Timberland Owners Association, USDA Forest Service, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Farm Services Agency (FSA), Society of American Foresters and other groups to provide assistance to private forestland owners and communities in a scientifically based approach to managing their natural resources.
