Family & Consumer Resources

The Family and Consumer Resources program in Strafford County provides information and education to strengthen and improve the quality of life for families, individuals and communities.  These programs are intended to prevent possible negative impacts of poor choices which have high social and economic costs. We work with a diverse group of individuals including adults of all ages, families, consumers, child care providers, and food service workers. Education is provided through individual contacts, group programs, newsletters, publications, web sites, and media outlets. Ellen Rondina, Extension Educator, Family & Consumer Resources, along with state-wide specialists, work closely with family resource centers, schools, youth organizations, libraries, and other non-profit organizations, community and volunteer groups, and food service businesses.
