Title of Presentation: New Hampshire Bats and White Nose Syndrome

Summary: Bats have been in the news lately. Wondering what’s up with bats in New Hampshire? This talk will give you an overview of the different kinds of bats found in our state, where to look for them, and how landowners and homeowners can help conserve these fascinating mammals. You’ll also learn about the impact of white-nose syndrome on our bats in New Hampshire, what scientists are learning about this threat, and how you can help.

This is a script of the NH Bats presentation (in a printable .pdf format). It includes slides and notes. Use it to practice your talk. The digital (PowerPoint) version of this talk will already be downloaded onto the laptop that you will pick up from the County UNHCE office.

Schedule Your Presentation Check dates for your presentation on the Presentation Calendar (color coded by County) Each County has its own set of equipment, so you only need to worry about conflicting dates within your County. To allow for transport time, allow for at least 1 extra day on either side of your presentation.

How to Deliver an Effective Presentation

Sign-in Sheet

Print out several copies of this for your presentation - try to get everyone to sign in before you start your presentation. Copies may already be in the kit, but bring some to make sure. Collecting this information is vital!
