Recess before lunch

Hungry kids eat more of what's on their plate, including fruits and veggies. Schools which swap the traditional order see less food waste and quieter lunches.

The Montana Office of Public Instruction created a guide to assist schools in the implementation of a recess before lunch policy.

Closer to home, Four Corners Elementary in Greenfield, MA has also implemented recess before lunch.
