Hands in a circleNutrition Connections staff collaborate with many federal, state, and local agencies that serve low-income families, including Food Stamp offices, WIC sites, Head Start, and other community programs.

Nutrition Connections programs work with adults in their homes, by mail, or in a group setting. Through a series of lessons, adults gain knowledge and skills to help them make good choices for their families in the areas of:

  • Choosing healthy foods
  • Stretching their food dollars
  • Handling food safely
