New Horizons Training
New Horizons offers various training opportunities, including:
- Hands-on Instructor-led training on the Durham campus (through CIS)
- Hands-on Instructor-led training at their facility in Nashua (Both desktop and technical offerings)
- Online training opportunities, available 24/7
They will also offer customized training at another location of your choice, if there is sufficient interest.
Desktop topics include the entire Microsoft Office Suite: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; Windows; Adobe Acrobat; Dreamweaver; HTML; InDesign; Illustrator; PhotoShop; and more.
Technical topics include Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Exchange Server, Windows XP Desktop Support, Vista, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, Cisco, ConmpTia's A+ and N+, Security,
New Horizons offers quality classes at reasonable prices, with a substantial discount for UNH employees. (They are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, which means they offer a superior level of training. All sessions come with a comprehensive course manual for your reference, a six-month access code to the self-paced online version of the class, and a free retake option in our Nashua Training Center.

New Horizons, in cooperation with CIS, offers a 20% discount to UNH staff for courses taken at their Nashua site. They also offer online self-paced training options that are discounted for employees of UNH Cooperative Extension as well.
