New Horizons Training
New Horizons offers various training opportunities, including:
- Hands-on Instructor-led training on the Durham campus (through CIS)
- Hands-on Instructor-led training at their facility in Nashua
- Online training opportunities, available 24/7
They will also offer customized training at another location of your choice, if there is sufficient interest.
Topics include the entire Office Suite: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Adobe Acrobat; Dreamweaver; Internet Explorer; PageMaker; PhotoShop; and Windows.
New Horizons offers quality classes at reasonable prices, with a discount for UNH employees. (Currently the cost is $99 a day for classes offered at the Durham campus.) They are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, which means they offer a superior level of training. All sessions come with a manual for your reference, and follow up available both on line and through a call in system, for a limited time after completing a course.

New Horizons, in cooperation with CIS, offers a discount to UNH staff for courses taken at their Nashua site. If you take the classes at their site, there is a 45% discount to UNHCE employees, making the cost $129 for one day, or$259 for a two-day class. (The same classes are offered for less on the Durham campus.)
They also offer online training, both in an interactive mode, and self-paced training. These are also discounted for employees of UNH Cooperative Extension.
