Program Development and Evaluation Team

The UNH Cooperative Extension Program Development and Evaluation Team (formally Program Planning and Evaluation Team) formed during the fall of 2001. The original team began the important work of creating organizational change around the manner we develop and evaluate educational programs. The current team has set forth to continue this important work. This web site is designed to communicate the team's work to all staff and to share web sites and resources on program development, needs assessment, evaluation and impact reporting. Any suggestions from staff on links or additional information are welcome and should be communicated to Seth Wilner or Lisa Townson (Co-chairs), Brian Doyle, Tim Fleury, Lauren Bressett, or Catherine Violette. Please check back regularly, as we are adding information on a regular basis.

The team is charged with the following:

  • Serve as a think tank for organizational change around PD&E including plan of work and reporting processes (this includes evaluating past efforts and making recommendations for organizational change around PD&E).
  • Provide technical assistance to UNHCE colleagues on plan of work development, logic modeling, program development and program evaluation.
  • Create a systematic method for conducting PD&E within and across program areas.
  • Provide organization-wide instruction/professional development on PD&E.
  • Map organizational PD&E assets, determine gaps and work towards filling those gaps.
  • Provide input to Program Development and Evaluation Specialist on ways to support and further program development and evaluation efforts.
  • Serve as a voice for co-workers with UNHCE administration on PD&E issues.
