Coverts Cooperators Can Help Communities & Landowners

How Can Coverts Help You?

Coverts Cooperators can help you! Coverts volunteers are located in every county in New Hampshire. Coverts Cooperators have different skills and may volunteer to help you in different ways. For example, Coverts Cooperators may:

  • Give you a tour of their own property (or property they manage) demonstrating different ways to manage land for wildlife habitat
  • Introduce you to local land protection initiatives such as regional greenways or local Land and Community Heritage projects
  • Offer a program to local schools or youth groups using Cooperative Extension's Wildlife Kits
  • Offer a program to a local club showcasing their own land stewardship projects
  • Assist you in publicizing natural resource-related events by writing newspaper articles or contacting local media outlets
  • Share resource notebook materials with you
  • Put you in touch with natural resource professionals for help with stewardship, forestry, or wildlife management on your land

To request help by a Coverts Cooperator, please send an email to the Coordinator of the NH Coverts Project. In the message, please provide your name, town, and contact information (including a phone number, since not all of our Coverts Cooperators have email). Also please describe the type of assistance you are looking for so we can put you in touch with a suitably skilled Coverts volunteer.
