With assistance from UNH Cooperative Extension, the Effingham Master Plan Advisory Council is updating its Master Plan. As part of that goal, the council held a public forum Aug. 21.

Over 50 citizens attended, discussing six general areas of the Master Plan: Business and Industry, Land Use and Zoning, Natural and Cultural Resources Housing, Recreation and Community Facilities and Infrastructure.

To help the council develop a survey to be distributed in town, residents outlined their vision for each of these areas. Their responses will help shape the survey.
