4-H staff are often approached by local businesses and organizations on the issue of accepting computer 'castoffs' for our youth programs. To help us with possible concerns about accepting old computers, the CYFERnet Team is collecting information about the process, benefits and costs of using this strategy to equip a computer lab. If you have experience with this issue, please share your process and considerations with Trudy Dunham. She will compile responses and send the results back to us.
