Dear Coverts Project Volunteers & Friends,

Coverts Cooperator on TV this Weekend
On Saturday, March 8th at 9 p.m. ET, the National Geographic Channel will premiere "A Man Among Bears," a new documentary about Ben Kilham. As many of you know, Ben is an expert on black bears, a resident of Lyme, NH, and a Coverts Cooperator (CC98).  More about Ben from the press release:  "For the past 12 summers, independent wildlife biologist Ben Kilham has eschewed traditional observational methods and instead embedded himself in a community of black bears in NH. He's hoping to change the scientific view of their behavior and demonstrate that they have social behaviors that are similar to those of humans." Tune in if you can!
