Fantastic Outdoor Job on NH Audubon Sanctuary Available. No Pay, But Tons of Thanks! Apply Here…
March is the unofficial start of the "stewardship season" on NH Audubon Sanctuaries. NH Audubon has roughly 25 stewards who are often the “eyes and ears” of its wildlife sanctuaries – providing a regular presence at 38 properties in every county of New Hampshire that staff can't adequately cover. Timely visits from stewards have been and continue to be a crucial aspect of real management averting misuses such as illegal hunting or cutting on some properties and providing a response to windstorm and other natural events that can wreak havoc on trails. Stewards might also maintain trails, monitor wildlife, fight back invasive species, and much more. To read more about the life of a steward and how to apply, click here.
