Dear Coverts Cooperators, Partners & Friends,

Just a quick update that I just received from Coverts Cooperator Charlie Mitchell (CC09).  He and Nanci (CC02) have a brontosaurus mower working at their property in Gilmanton from now until next Tuesday (Aug. 9).  They are clearing a 1.5 acre area to improve habitat for nesting woodcock, plus an additional 2.5 acres.   If you've not been to the Mitchell's, they've done some other early-successional habitat work in recent years that is worth a look!

Charlie says, "anyone interested in seeing a brontosaurus in action is welcome.  We'd be happy to have visitors."  You can email Charlie at charlie.mitchell@metrocast.net or Nanci at nmitchell@metrocast.net or give them a call at:  603-581-2696

Enjoy!
