Hello Folks,

This notice just in from Coverts volunteer Nancy Cowan, who runs the NH School of Falconry and invites everyone to visit the school in Deering this weekend for an Open House:

New Hampshire School of Falconry is holding an Open House, Saturday, Sept 25, from 10 to 3.  There will be exhibition of many raptors including gyrfalcons, peregrines, red-tailed hawks, also wildlife artist Jim Collins will be displaying some of his work.  Sy Montgomery is doing a reading and booksigning for her newest book, Birdology.  There will flight exhibitions throughout the day, and the NH Falconers Association will be on hand to display their birds and answer questions.  This is a great day for families, photographers, and nature lovers to be up close and personal with Nature's fastest and fittest predators.  The NH School of Falconry is located at 183 Deering Center Road, Deering, NH .....that is Route 149, just one and one quarter miles south of "downtown" Hillsboro.

Sounds like a great event!
