MEET OUR EDUCATORS:

 

clover 4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

4-H is a Youth Development program designed to help youth 5 to 18   increase  life skills, explore personal interests and become involved in their community. 4-H groups are traditional youth clubs, after school programs and individual study. Youth are encouraged to participate in    local, state, regional and national 4-H events.


SueSue Cagle, Extension Educator, FAMILY & CONSUMER RESOURCES

The Family & Consumer Resource program helps individuals and families to increase knowledge and skills in order to achieve their goals. Programs provide information on a variety of subjects, including money management, increasing parenting and family communication skills, promoting healthy lifestyles, and reduction of food borne illness.

 

Andy Andy Fast, Extension Educator, FOREST & WILDLIFE RESOURCES

The Forest and Wildlife Resources program promotes forest resource conservation, utilization and development through public outreach education, information and technical advice. Assistance is provided to landowners, loggers, foresters, town officials, and the general public.

The Agricultural Resources program provides assistance to agricultural businesses on topics such as pest management, soil testing, pasture & hayfield maintenance and marketing.

 

Brenda Brenda Carey, Program Associate, NUTRITION CONNECTIONS

The Nutrition Connections program provides education to both adults and youth on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Topics covered include nutrition, fitness, food safety and budgeting. This program targets adults & families up to 185% of poverty level as well as schools with high rates of free & reduced meals. Classes are offered in group settings, as home visits, in classrooms and via the mail.
