Animal Science projects involves many species. From small animals (hamsters, gerbils, cats) to larger animals (dairy cattle, oxen), youth will learn proper care, and all aspects of that animal. There are events for those who are involved in dairy cattle, for instance, quiz bowl; for horse, Hippology contest and quiz bowl. Not to mention showing your animal at county fairs during the summer months.
