Garden Clinic in Merrimack County
This is becoming a popular and ever growing project over the years. 4-H members who choose to attend the garden clinic, receive free seeds to plant in their garden. Our key garden leader has a wealth of information on what it takes to have a successful garden. Youth draw out thier plots and rows and if time permits, their garden is visited to give pointers.
We ask those who plant gardens to "plant a row" for soup kitchens or local food pantries to help those who are in need.
Many 4-Hers even enter some of their crop into the Hopkinton State Fair 4-H Exhibit building for judging.
