Junior Leadership in Merrimack County
The Merrimack County 4-H Junior Leaders consist of youth 12 years and older in leadership roles. These teens will run their meetings, plan community service projects, organize and run Honors Evening (a recognition event). One community service project was to put together "Hero Paks" for those families whose loved ones are serving overseas.
Its not all hard work. There are field trips such as chartering a bus to Boston to ride on the Duck Tour, Neon bowling night, one year to see the Blue Man Group.
