Presentation Day in Merrimack County
This day is for those youth who have chosen to display thier poster, photography, an action exhibit or demonstration to a panel for evaluation.
With the age of digital cameras we are seeing more and more amazing shots from youth as young as 8 years old!
Youth are given guidelines to follow for entering their poster on this day, with emphasis on 4-H.
An Action Exhibit features one to three 4-H’ers showing a process; making or doing something while explaining it to the audience and answering the audience’s questions.
A Demonstration is show and tell of sorts. The 4-H member shows all of the necessary steps in the process. They develop one
central idea or practice thoroughly and show how to do it in logical order. For each step, they tell what is being done, how it is being done, and why this method is used. Then there is a question and answer period from the audience.
