Archers take aim at the January 30th, 2010 4-H Shooting Sports introductory workshop at the Chester Rod and Gun Club

4-H and non-4-H member youth are invited to a shooting sports program that will begin on Saturday November 19 and then run every other Saturday after that until April 28.

Description:

The program takes place at the Chester Rod and Gun Club at 99 Rod and Gun Club Road, Chester, NH, 03036.

A proper introduction to the shooting sports can set the stage for a lifetime of safe shooting enjoyment. Youngsters age 8 to 18 who are interested in learning more about the 4-H shooting sports program are invited to a free program that meets every other Saturday through April 28 at the Chester Rod and Gun Club. We'll meet from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM, and participants will get a chance to shoot rifles and archery with help from our trained instructors. Of course, safety and responsibility will be the chief emphasis of the day.

To sign up:

1) Just show up. Come to the Chester Rod and Gun Club at 8:30 AM on the morning of the program. The dates are every other Saturday: November 19, December 3, 17, January 7, 21, February 4, 18, March 3, 17, 31, April 14, 28.

2) Bring along a completed 4-H Youth Activity Permission Form and a 4-H Medical Treatment Form
