ServSafe Food Protection Certification Course and Examination

This course follows the flow of food throughout an establishment. Participants will learn what conditions enhance the growth of bacteria that causes food borne illnesses along with the safest way to receive, store, prepare, cook and serve food for their customers. Practical information on training staff is included. At the end of the course, the National Restaurant Association ServSafe certification exam will be administered (approximately 3:30 p.m.). Some studying on your own time will be necessary. The course will be taught by Nancy Bradford-Sisson, Certified ServSafe Instructor. Registration form here.

This course is useful for people who have no prior GIS experience and GIS users interested in low cost options. The GIS world has experienced an explosion of free and inexpensive programs that allow users to make maps, edit data and preform geographic analysis without breaking the bank. In this workshop, participants will have a chance to get their feet wet with numerous free and low cost GIS programs, learning the pros and cons of each. We will also cover GIS basics, common types of GIS data, and getting GIS data in NH.

Backyard Maple Syrup

This session is tailored for town employees and those working on public lands but the public is welcome to attend.
