Business Planning for Loggers

This planning workshop will center on the preparation of a comprehensive business plan, its key components, and why it is so important to the formation and operation of a successful business. Workshop topics will include:
  • Understanding your served market
  • Preparation of fi nancial statements
  • Operations
  • Financing options
Workshop instructors will include business professionals who work with the logging industry as well as successful loggers who will impart real-world experience and insights. Workshop participants will also receive an information package that includes contacts and information for SBA (Small Business Administration) and SBDC (Small Business Development) follow-on assistance.There will be a break for lunch, please bring your own.

Credits:  8.0 PLP Certification credits

             TBD NH Forester Licensing CEUs

 

Credits for this course can be used towards PLP re-certification.
