Community Forests

We help communities care for individual trees and trees in community open spaces such as town forests, town commons, and streetscapes. Through Community Profiles, the Community Conservation Assistance Program, Community Tree Stewards and the County Extension Forestry Program we provide support to town boards, public officials, schools, civic groups, and other community organizations.

The Forestry Information Center can answer many of your natural resource related questions. When sending an email please provide contact information (phone number and post office address) and what kind of assistance or information you want. The center can also be reached for callers in any of the New England states at 1-800-444-8978. The postal address is Rm 211 Nesmith Hall, 131 Main Street, Durham, NH, 03824.
