Garmin GPS 76 units are available on loan for non-profit and educational projects to individuals who have completed any of UNH Cooperative Extension's GPS workshops (GPS Basics, Google Puts the "G" in GPS, Trail Mapping with GPS), Community Mapping, GIS/GPS Boot Camp, GIS for Community Decision Makers, or a GPS workshop from one of our partner organizations (for example: Ashuelot Valley Environmental Observatory, NH Fish & Game Department).

If you have taken any these workshops in the past, please contact Sharon Hughes to reserve GPS units (603-862-1029, sharon.hughes@unh.edu). It is advisable to reserve the units well in advance.

Trimble Pathfinder Pro XR GPS units are available on loan for non-profit projects to individuals who have completed UNH Cooperative Extension's GPS for GIS workshop. If you have taken this workshop in the past, please contact Sharon Hughes to reserve a receiver. (603-862-1029 or sharon.hughes@unh.edu). It is advisable to reserve the receiver well in advance.

Unfortunately, we will not offer our GPS for GIS workshop again until we have new Trimble units to use in training and to loan to workshop participants.

Therefore, we are unable to loan our current Trimble GPS units to people and organizations who have become only recently aware of our program. Keep an eye out on our website for future news on the new units and an updated GPS for GIS workshop!
