Learn GIS basics and how to use ArcGIS 9! These workshop materials are useful for people who have no prior GIS experience, but would like to become familiar with GIS concepts and basic techniques.
The central goal of this workshop is to provide participants with the skills to manipulate GIS maps to answer commonly asked issues in community planning. Activities focus on the use of ArcGIS 9 to get information from GIS data layers, answer basic geospatial questions and manipulate attribute data.
