Introduction to ArcView GIS     

These workshop materials cover the basics of working with ArcView 3.3! This course is useful for people who have no prior GIS experience. With a focus on New Hampshire data and applications, the exercises cover how to use ArcView 3.3 to produce attractive, effective maps. These materials are based on an older version of ESRI's GIS software.  For materials on the current versions, please see Introduction to ArcGIS.

This workshop is no longer taught through UNH Cooperative Extension.

The workshop materials consist of the workshop manual (PDF), the presentations (PPT) and the data folders and files.

The manual contains the following sections:

     3. Importing Data from ArcInfo
     4. Modifying Data with the Geoprocessing Wizard Extension
     5. The Legend Editor
     6. Modifying and Joining Tables
     7. Creating a Layout
     8. Using Scripts
     9. Review Skills: Map Wetland Soils
