While turfgrasses provide many economic and environmental benefits in New Hampshire, their maintenance costs can be relatively high. UNH
Cooperative Extension has been planting and evaluating several turfgrass varieties in recreational, landscape and farm settings that perform well with lower inputs of water, fertilizer, mowing and pesticides.
