Biography
Rachel Maccini joined UNH Cooperative Extension in 2001. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the toll-free information line staffed by trained volunteers. She is also responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting new Master Gardeners for the Education Center. She organizes and oversees workshops presented to the public by Master Gardeners. She coordinates the UNHCE Pesticide Education Program which oversees the training of private pesticide applicators and the dissemination of pesticide safety information.

- Bachelor of Science in Entomology - University of New Hampshire, 1997
Program Specialty Areas
- Oversee a toll-free information line staffed by volunteers. This staff provides information in response to public inquiries pertaining to various Family, Home and Garden topics such as annuals & perennials, backyard livestock, wildlife, lawn questions, insects and many more.
- Organizes and oversees the Master Gardener Workshop Series. These are workshops provided to the public on a quarterly basis. They are taught by highly trained Master Gardeners and cover a variety of topics.
- Pesticide Education Coordinator: Responsible for pesticide safety education and pesticide applicator certification and recertification programs.
