Nancy Evans
Extension Program Associate, 4-H Youth Development


Nancy recruits, trains and supports the nearly 300 volunteers who work with Merrimack County 4-H youth, providing them with research-based curriculum, and an understanding of how to create positive youth development environments.



Biography

Nancy Evans joined the Merrimack County Extension Office in 1987. Having served as a club organization leader for 10 years and having been active in county and state events, she was familiar with the 4-H program. In Merrimack county Nancy works primarily in the youth animal, plant science and natural resources areas. She also conducts leader training, recruits new volunteers and clubs, and helps coordinate county activities and events.


Educational Background
  • 2 years - University of New Hampshire in Elementary Education

  • Additional course work - College for Lifelong Learning, UNH Manchester
