Program Assistant, Agricultural Resources
- Rockingham County Master Gardener Coordinator: Extension Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who share their enthusiasm for gardening with the general public. By serving as volunteer educators in their communties, Master Gardeners help UNH Cooperative Extension Programs reach more people.
- Integrated Pest Management, (IPM): The Agricultural Resources Program has been working directly with UNH Cooperative Extension Plant Health Specialist and the Entomology Specialist in developing a pilot program to be used by plant nurseries.
- Speaker's Bureau: Created to enhance consumer educational outreach within Rockingham County. Presentations are conducted by Elizabeth and the Master Gardeners.
Biography
Elizabeth has over 25 years of experience as a horticulturist and community educator. In addition to working part time as the Program Assistant for Agricultural Resources in Rockingham County, she runs a seasonal landscape business specializing in unusual annuals and perennials. Dedicated to serving the community with a special interest in horticulture therapy. She works collaboratively with volunteers, non-profit agencies as well as professionals in the landscape industry.
