Congratulations to Peter Beblowski (CC2001) and Yvonne Beran (CC2013) who were drawn as the winners of the Coverts Project Calendar Giveaway! Peter and Yvonne will both receive a NH Fish & Game 2017 Calendar. Peter's submission showed him helping at an invasive species removal day, while Yvonne's showed her surveying habitat at her town forest. Bob Brown, chair of the New London Conservation Commission and Coverts Cooperator (2014), shared the following news about conserving land in New London. These projects have been a long time in the making, including one parcel that has taken ten years of work to conserve. Bob shared with me, "Some of these projects really get complicated at take time. It sometines helps to be stubborn." Congratulations to Bob and the rest of the Commission on their hard work!
