First Impressions is an assessment program that examines a downtown through the eyes of potential residents, visitors and businesses, helping communities learn about their downtown’s assets and opportunities for improvement, and empowering leaders and volunteers to take steps to improve their downtown.
UNH Cooperative Extension is currently accepting applications from communities who are interested in starting the First Impressions program in the Spring of 2017.

The Economic Profile allows communities to identify local and regional economic assets and opportunities, prioritize needs, and develop and implement effective strategies to strengthen the community's economic base. The process results in the creation of an action plan and working groups to pursue that vision.
The Community Profile program provides an opportunity for communities to affirm strengths, identify opportunities for change, envision a vibrant future, create action plans, and develop local leaders and action groups to pursue the vision for the future. One of the major outcomes of the Community Profile is more citizen participation in the community.
