UNH Stormwater Center - resources & workshops
Is your community concerned about preventing flooding, water pollution, groundwater scarcity and other water-related issues? Stormwater (sometimes called polluted runoff) affects health and safety, economic well-being, and environmental quality in a community, either positively or negatively depending on how it’s managed.
NROC offers education, technical assistance, and facilitation to communities to help them make progress on their stormwater management goals. We deliver customized education and assistance to community boards, staff, and residents. There is no charge for most NROC programs.
One community leader wrote:
“Dear [NROC], I wanted to let you know that the Planning Board adopted the new stormwater regulations as part of the site plan review and subdivision review regulations at their meeting last night. Thank you again for all of your support. Without NROC’s assistance, we wouldn’t have been able to do it.”
