Nature Journaling Workshop
Thursday, September 21 • 12:30-4:30pm
Massabesic Audubon Center
26 Audubon Way • Auburn, NH
Registration Fee: $10.00
(Rain date: September 28, 12:30-4:30pm; participants should be able to commit to both dates)
Do you want to learn more about your property or a property you help steward? Come enjoy time outdoors and learn ways to record data that can help you in future land planning and management. What is important to document? What are some simple methods using both writing and illustration? What will help you see how both subtle and obvious changes are happening to the nature of where you live? Join naturalist/artist/educator Clare Walker Leslie to explore the art and science of nature journaling. If you want to know a bit about Clare, visit: www.clarewalkerleslie.com - she will be selling several of her books at the workshop. Participants should be available for both the scheduled date and the rain date.
What to Bring: Notebook and pen or pencil; any local guidebooks or field guides that you like; suitable outdoor clothing; water. Snacks will be provided.
This workshop is for trained NH Coverts Project volunteers only. If space is available closer to the date, we will open it up to family and friends.
