Jared Reynolds, a field specialist in Merrimack County for Extension’s Community and Economic Development team, has been honored with the Outstanding Volunteer Award for 2020 by Intown Concord.
Reynolds serves as treasurer for this nonprofit organization whose mission is to “promote, elevate and celebrate the city of Concord, with a specific focus on the city center, resulting in a thriving, inclusive and sustainable community.”
Reynolds was presented with the volunteer recognition award at Intown Concord’s annual meeting. Julie Bushaw, who serves as president, said, “This past year Jared was instrumental in keeping our financials well organized; he kept us on track in a very tight operating environment while maintaining his own full-time job. His diligence and attention to detail is so appreciated.”
In his Extension role, Reynolds works with communities to build their capacity for implementing projects, building resilience and supporting their local economy. In undertaking a leadership role with Intown Concord, he can further engage with businesses, entrepreneurs, artists and nonprofits of New Hampshire’s bustling capital city.
