Fall Landscape Pesticide Education Workshop

This half day workshop is designed for landscapers and licensed pesticide applicators. Over the course of the morning, you'll learn how to prevent weeds, insects, and diseases from becoming resistant to pesticides with Emma Erler, the UNH Extension Field Specialist in Landscape and Greenhouse Horticulture. In addition, Kyle Lombard, NH Division of Forests and Lands Forest Health Program Coordinator, will discuss the status and management of invasive insects in New Hampshire. Finally, David Rousseau, Director of the Division of Pesticide Control for the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food, will review important pesticide regulations that apply to all landscapers in the state.

Following the program, enjoy a catered lunch and time to visit and network with fellow green industry professionals.

3.0 PESTICIDE APPLICATOR CREDITS ARE AVAILABLE

Cost: $85.00

Space is limited to 50 participants, so preregistration is required.

Special COVID-19 Safety Precautions: The entire program will be held indoors, following current University of New Hampshire COVID-19 guidelines.
