Wanted ... volunteers interested in sparking youths interest in agriculture.

Join 4-H Field Specialist, Michelle Bersaw-Robblee and Coos 4-H Program Manager, Christine Whiting for a day of fun, hands-on learning.

Maple Syrup 9:30am - 12:00pm

Hydroponics 12:30pm - 2:30pm

Volunteers are welcome to attend a single session or join us for both!

  • Tapping into the Tradition: See how to “boil” down the steps of maple sugaring into hands-on, bite size activities for youth.
  • Cultivating Roots with 4-H Hydroponics: Join us on a dive into hydroponics. Get your hands wet as you discover what makes a grow medium unique.
  • What you will learn: Participants will leave this training with the tools necessary to lead hands-on learning experiences in their 4-H clubs, afterschool programs, classrooms, etc.

Questions? Contact Christine Whiting, 4-H Program Manager at Christine.Whiting@unh.edu or by phone at (603) 788-4961.
