This winter getaway will allow for our emerging teen leaders to enhance their life skills, participate in team building, play fun games, explore nature and the outdoors in a variety of ways, and of course make new friends with New Hampshire 4-H t(w)eens!

This day long event is open to 4-Hers and their friends, aged 12-18.

Cost: $50

Check out the activities that we have planned for the day!

Let’s Break The Ice - Expanding Your Leadership Toolkit: Do you ever need fun activities to do at your club’s meeting? In this workshop you will expand your leadership toolkit by learning and playing fun icebreaker games you can use at your club’s meetings and can also use at any social event.

Make A Pin, Swap A Pin: An age old tradition in 4-H is to swap pins that are meaningful to where you are from.  In this workshop you will have materials to create pins that are meaningful to you and where you are from.  We will swap pins with other teens later on in the day.

Anyone Can Snowshoe: 4-H Nature Hike: Have you ever wondered if your club or friends would brave the chilly air to take a hike?  In this workshop you will be fitted with snowshoes and take a walk on the non-traditional side of 4-H in a nature hike around Camp Cody.  You’ll see how easy and fun it could be to hike with friends anywhere!

Myth Buster: Mental Health: We will spend some time busting myths around mental health through activities and small group conversations.  Taking time to “Walk in Our Shoes” will serve each tween and teen leader in their journey to make the best better.

What’s Biting? Ice Fishing 101 on Ossipee Lake: If you are seasoned or brand new to ice fishing this workshop will hit on some tips and tricks to a successful ice fishing adventure.    All gear provided on site.

Snowball Fight - Trebuchet-Style: During this workshop tweens and teens will be issued the ultimate Tinkering Challenge: create a giant trebuchet in small groups, make sure that it works properly and head outdoors for the snowball fight of their lives using their giant trebuchets!
