New Hampshire Dairy Goat Seminar: Fencing Options for Small Ruminants

Free Seminar at the 39th Annual NH Farm, Forest & Garden Exposition held at the Double Tree by Hilton Manchester Downtown, 700 Elm Street, Manchester, NH. The meeting will be held in the main lobby area. You must purchase a NH Farm, Forest & Garden Expo ticket in order to attend the free seminar.

The session will cover the basics of fencing for small ruminants, including traditional woven-wire livestock fencing, high tensile electric fence, and portable fence netting. Dave Kennard, of Wellscroft Fencing in Harrisville, New Hampshire, will be the presenter and provide practical information on proper installation, grounding, and layout. Dave is a highly respected authority on fencing, and he is a sheep farmer and dog trainer.

There will be an opportunity to donate to the 4-H dairy goat program and to purchase dairy goat publications.
