Join Matt Tarr (Extension State Habitat Specialist), Dode Gladders (Extension County Forester), consulting forester Tim Wallace (River Edge Forestry) and Ann & Marc Davis (2022 NH Outstanding Tree Farmers of the Year) for this special workshop designed for foresters and landowners.  During this workshop we will tour a portion of the Davis’ Tree Farm to learn how different forestry practices and silvicultural methods have been used to create and enhance habitat for a diversity of wildlife.

Prior to the event, participants should watch the pre-recorded presentation Using Silviculture to Maintain & Enhance Wildlife Habitat. During the workshop we will discuss and expand upon many of the concepts introduced in that presentation (a YouTube link to the presentation will be provided 1 week prior to the workshop).

Certificates of attendance for a total of 3.5 contact hours will be provided.

Cost: Free, but registration is required.

Please register soon as there are a limited number of spots available.
