4-H T(w)een Winter Retreat

Open to youth ages 12-18. The first half of the retreat will have two goals: One of them will be a workshop around peer recruitment for 4-H.  A LOT of counties have action plans around recruitment!  So we are offering a hands on-workshop to encourage our 4-Hers to share their passion by creating a flier/social media image in Canva and start practicing a Public Service Announcement about 4-H.  The civic engagement learning series will continue this work in March, with groups of teens working together and actually producing PSAs for the radio waves. The other workshop offering will be for the older teens, as the in-person culminating experience of the Marketing You virtual workshop series, where they will review their resumes in person (or start on one).  Teens will all get the chance to mock interview in one of three different topics:  4-H national trips, an entry level first time job, or college/trade school.  THEN we are bussing them all to Pat’s Peak for some early-night time tubing!

• Snow tubing at Pat's Peak from 5:00-7:00
• Pizza dinner at Pat's Peak Lodge
