On Sunday, September 21, Barrington will gather for a day of vision, voice, and celebration at Town Center Day Your Voice. Your Vision. Your Town Center.
We’ll begin at 10 a.m. at Barrington Elementary School with a special progress report on the Town Center vision: a place for residents to gather and businesses to thrive. Learn about the market analysis, trail connections, potential zoning updates, and next steps from the Barrington Center Development Committee, our consultant team, and the UNH Cooperative Extension’s Downtowns & Trails program. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, share feedback, and add your ideas to the vision.
At noon, we’ll walk together along the perimeter trail to Barrington Common for an afternoon of community fun. Enjoy live music, delicious local food, kids’ activities, and hands-on displays. Meet with Town officials, volunteers, and consultants to continue shaping the plan.
At 1 p.m., don’t miss the official ribbon cutting for Welcome Way, a name chosen by Barrington’s kids during Town Meeting 2025.
Plus, the Barrington Energy Committee will host SUNday activities celebrating the fall equinox, with renewable energy exhibits, solar and EV displays, and more.
